Our Commitment to Sustainability

We align our mission with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals

Our Climate Actions: 25% GHG reduction target (by 2030) Continuous monitoring of Scope 1, 2 & 3 emissions Switch to renewable energy sources Efficient machinery to minimize gas & electricity consumption Green supply chain development Emission Mitigation in Practice: 150 MW solar plant at Sukkur (part of 190 MW total) Bio-chemical wastewater treatment systems Elimination of single-use plastics in packaging Lightweight, low-carbon design strategies for all humanitarian items

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Nizam Relief reduces environmental impact through renewable energy, water conservation, responsible material sourcing, and circular product design. Our manufacturing operations are powered by 190 MW of solar energy, supported by water-saving technologies, chemical-safe processes, and lifecycle-driven product engineering under the Nizam One sustainability framework.

Yes. All Nizam Relief products are manufactured in vertically integrated facilities that follow GRS, Oeko-Tex, ZDHC, and ISO environmental standards. From raw material selection to final production, sustainability, durability, and safety are built into every shelter, tent, tarp, and blanket we produce.

Yes. Nizam Relief is a pioneer in circular humanitarian manufacturing. We produce GRS-certified recycled relief blankets and are actively developing recyclable humanitarian tents and shelters in collaboration with global partners. These initiatives significantly reduce carbon footprint while maintaining field-level performance.

Nizam Relief uses advanced Nano-Bubble Technology and water recycling systems that reduce water consumption by up to 95% in key processes. Treated and recycled water is reused across operations, minimizing freshwater withdrawal and supporting responsible water stewardship.

Nizam Relief adheres to internationally recognized sustainability and governance standards, including UN Global Compact, Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi), GRS, Oeko-Tex Standard 100, ZDHC, and ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001. Our sustainability performance is publicly reported and independently audited.
